The media journalist received a certified bulletproof vest and a helmet for work in a war zone at a free rental point that operates in the Dnipro Journalists’ Solidarity Center of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU).
The publication writes a lot about Ukrainian defenders, about compatriots who joined the ranks of the AFU and hold the front. And also about volunteers who, risking their lives, collect and take everything necessary to the front line.
“I’m planning to prepare articles about what is happening there, near the front line, about life in the de-occupied territories,” says Iryna Sytnik. “It is good that there is an opportunity to take everything you need at the Journalists’ Solidarity Center.
High-quality protective equipment, which the Center received from UNESCO with the assistance of the International Federation of Journalists, will be useful to colleagues from Petropavlivka during their work in hot spots.
As earlier reported, media representatives who are going to hot spots can get a certified bulletproof vest branded with the inscription ‘PRESS’, a helmet and a tactical first aid kit for free for up to one month.
