The actual headquarters for the provision of humanitarian aid was deployed at the Journalists’ Solidarity Center of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU). Kits of the most vital products were handed over by volunteers of the non-governmental organization Beluha. This is already the second aid tranche so necessary for forced migrants.
“We know how much work you have and even how many more people you care for now. And we are grateful to you for having the opportunity to support journalists as well,” said Nataliya Kuzmenko, a co-coordinator of the NUJU’s Journalists’ Solidarity Center.
Both for the volunteers and for the head of the NGO, Oleksandr Beluha, this is not just a job, but a call of heart.
“Since the first days of the war, we have been providing humanitarian aid to many people in the cities; going to the front; supporting our troops. For us, this work is an honorable duty, our contribution to the joint struggle for victory,” emphasized Beluha.
