The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) continues to provide Ukrainian and foreign journalists with protective equipment for work in combat zones and frontline territories.
Recently, the film crew of Asia Press International Media has made a respective request.
Journalist of this media Watai Takeharu has sent a photo to the NUJU, thanked for the protection equipment, and expressed hope for further cooperation with the Union.
The NUJU team is pleased to receive feedback on cooperation from journalists from all over the world. However, it is unfortunate that the reason for their visit and the need for protection is the Russian war against our state.
Dear employees of Ukrainian and international mass media, please contact the Journalists’ Solidarity Centers of the NUJU for protective equipment for its further use in your work.
As earlier reported, Journalists’ Solidarity Centers are an initiative of the NUJU implemented with the support of the International and European Federations of Journalists, as well as UNESCO. The initiative is aimed at helping media representatives working in Ukraine during the war. The centers operate in Kyiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro and provide journalists with organizational, technical, legal, psychological, and other types of assistance.
